2 things you need to know!#1. Chaco's are great shoes. The hip thong is different than the other types that run the straps through the tread. The hip thong is not adjustable, expect for one of the brown straps. Not sure why they thought this was helpful. I have the zx/2's and love that they are custom fitted to my foot. If I need more toe space, I just adjust them. Not here, the colored strap can sometimes leave a mark on my foot. Also, the sizing is different. If you were a 9 in the zx/2 you will want a 10 in the hip thong. I had to return and size up. Which brings me to:
#2. USE A DIFFERENT STORE. Planet shoes does offer free returns for sizing and such on a purchase amount over $50 (I think). But they are soooooo slow. Worse....no communication during the process. I had to wait nearly 6 weeks to have the correct shoe, I had to instigate 2 emails to find out if they had my shoes, and if they were processing either a return or replacement.
