2 things you need to know!
#1. Chaco's are great shoes. The hip thong is different than the other types that run the straps through the tread. The hip thong is not adjustable, expect for one of the brown straps. Not sure why they thought this was helpful. I have the zx/2's and love that they are custom fitted to my foot. If I need more toe space, I just adjust them. Not here, the colored strap can sometimes leave a mark on my foot. Also, the sizing is different. If you were a 9 in the zx/2 you will want a 10 in the hip thong. I had to return and size up. Which brings me to:
#2. USE A DIFFERENT STORE. Planet shoes does offer free returns for sizing and such on a purchase amount over $50 (I think). But they are soooooo slow. Worse....no communication during the process. I had to wait nearly 6 weeks to have the correct shoe, I had to instigate 2 emails to find out if they had my shoes, and if they were processing either a return or replacement. What a bargain for ECCO quality
This sandal is beautifully made and is instantly comfortable. I got the lighter color and I really like how it is a very neutral color and will go with anything you want to wear for the summer. It is a very light weight shoe, but also has terrific padding to be a great walking shoe. I absolutely love it.

This is my 3rd pair of Skechers sandals. The first pair disappeared with my lost luggage on a trip to Italy last year. I was so upset, since they were my favorite "casual" shoes. The 2nd pair I still use; but they are size 7 1/2 and just a bit too short for my toes (the original pair were open-toed). I only use them now when I am kayaking, since I don't mind if they get wet. For the latest pair, I went up a 1/2 size and the fit is perfect. They have great arch support, which is important to me since I've had plantar faciitis in the past. They are also very comfortable - I usually wear them on my days off when I'm running around. I've worn them with jeans, capris and even skirts, and I've gotten alot of compliments on them. I live in Florida, and find that they are much cooler than a sneaker; in fact, I think the Skecher sandals are even more comfortable than their sneakers. I have other Orthaheel sandals that I like better. I bought this one for the color primarily. The shoe is comfortable but not as much as the Porta sandal by this company. The shoe does not connect on my foot where the metal piece will hit in the center. This makes it look unbalanced a little. Also, the shoe makes my size 6 foot look really big. Orthaheels are always more comfortable than a sandal that is not structured but this isn't my favorite. Best flip flops ever!
3 years ago I discovered Havaianas by Lori Jack. They carried them at this little boutique near my house and I fell in love with them. First of all, I've never owned a pair of flip flops more comfortable than Havaianas, not to mention they last seemingly forever. I have a custom pair by Stacy Bass but the Lori Jack are my absolute favorites. They come in so many colors, I want one of each but I've limited myself to one new pair every year. I bought these in advance of a trip to Thailand and Cambodia. This is my first pair of Keens and the fit was just right. I did a lot of walking and trekking up stairs at the many temples we visited. Elegant, but strap cut my foot
For the record, I love Birkenstock sandals, and am on my 6th pair. I currently have plantar fasciatis on one foot, and my Chaco sandals weren't helping. I had purchased a pair of the Birkenstock soft-bed Milanos earlier this spring, which seem to help my heel pain and are very comfortable, but they are not dressy. I was hoping the Granadas would be a more elegant option.
Okay, full disclosure: I bought a pair of the black Grenada's at Famous Footwear, instead of Amazon (same price, but I could try them on and walk out with them at the store). I didn't pay attention when I tried them on at the store, but after wearing them for just a couple of hours, the tops of my feet hurt a lot-- a combination of feeling bruised and feeling scratched. I took them off to investigate and realized that the straps are not solid leather, but a thin layer of leather on top with a "soft" fabric touching the skin. The thing you have to remember about Birkenstocks is that they need a little bit of time to conform to your foot and once they do, they are more than worth it. The leather is nice and thick and the craftsmanship screams quality. I live in this shoe during the summer and I really like the look of this particular style. When it gets a little colder or I wear heels, this is the shoe I want to have waiting for me when I get home. After any amount of stress on your feet, these shoes realign them to take any pain away. I would wear them in the winter if it weren't cold (I cannot wear them with socks...it just goes against me) and the clogs just haven't reached the stylish look that the sandals achieve but you can bet I wear them around the house all of the time. I wondered if they would feel weird with the two straps that wrap around the toe, but find in the wearing that they are exceptionally comfortable -- I prefer this style to traditional sandals with the single thong between the first and second toes. I am trying to love them.... Updated - and now do :)
These are beautiful shoes, that have many things that I like about them, but there are some down sides that I am working through.

I love the look and feel of the sole, and of the design on the strap! Great support, and a VERY nice, well made look overall. *I am one of those folks who never buys sandals with a light colored foot bed, just don't like the inevitable, (for me it seems), toe/footprint : / These are a really nice color, and the material is very easy to keep clean. The actual footbed does seem to run just a little narrow, which doesn't matter a lot in a thong type shoe, but my feet JUST do fit width wise. Again, probably TMI, but I don't like my feet to extend beyond the footbed, along any margin, lol.

They feel great when I first put them on, and am first walking around in them, but over time things go south : / One issue is that it starts to rub just a bit along the top of the foot, but I am working on breaking them in, so I hope that will be.......READ MORE REVIEW

I purchased these in the sand leather, which is versatile, neutral, and very attractive color. I have large feet, with several issues that make finding a comfortable walking shoe very difficult. I was concerned when they first arrived, although they seemed to fit, the leather seemed stiff and quite often it isn't until I wear a shoe for a couple of hours that I find out that my feet can't tolerate them. I'd say these are great for high arches.
I normally wear a 6.5 and have very high arches. I had some long pants and I needed a height boost because I didn't have time to take them to the tailor so I purchased these on a whim. I had never worn this brand before and I was a bit skeptical, not sure what to expect. I ended up getting a 7 (I don't remember if it was because they only sold whole sizes or they were out of the 6.5), got them 2 days later with amazon prime, and was pleasantly surprised with them.

While they have a medium sized heel, because of the platform you don't really feel it. The natural curve of the sole makes it easy to walk despite them being a wedge. Even though they have a medium high wedge heel, they feel lower because of the platform. They have a lot of cushion which is easy on the feet. I was a little iffy on the rhinestones, I didn't want sparkle because I wanted them as day sandals but, in the natural color, the rhinestones kind of just blend in and don't really stand out.......READ MORE REVIEW

So disappointing
I bought these shoes on September 6, and considering that I live abroad, I received them almost 3 weeks after the purchase date.

I was very happy when I received, and fell in love with how comfortable they are as soon as I put them on.

Today is October 22, and I'm sorry to say that the rubber sole on one shoe is starting to come off!!

I can't believe I've spent so much money on a pair of shoes that has soles coming off in less than 2 months!! If I'd bought a cheap brand they would've lasted longer than this!
