I have bought orthaheels for the past 2 years and they are usually very comfortable, cheaply made, but comfortable as they worn out quickly. Silver strip on back of sandal is easily scratched
I have these shoes in three colors, and have worn them daily during the last two summers. They are pretty with sundresses and casual with shorts and jeans. Love them. There is just one issue that I haven't been able to resolve yet....the silver or gold strip on the back of the shoes is easily scratched, and underneath is black (on all of the shoes, no matter the color of the leather).....so the scratches are very obvious. I've considered using a silver Sharpie on them, or taking them to a cobbler to see if they can come up with a solution, meanwhile I wear them anyway. This particular pair arrived with a few scratches on the silver, new in the box! So, it is obviously a manufacturing issue that ONEX needs to resolve. ONEX, please find a better metallic product for your shoe heel strips! You'd have to search pretty hard to find someone more skeptical than me. I have a sticker glued on my computer that I got from the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry. The sticker says "I Doubt It!" My first dissapointment in a Merrell shoe
I own several pair of Merrells...from sandals to sneakers to boots. They have been the most comfortable brand of shoes I've owned.....until these. I read the excellent reviews on the shoe prior to ordering. Can't understand these "rave" reviews. These shoes are definitely made for a wide foot, have no adjustment whatsoever for width, and run a little small in length. I wanted to exchange them, but after reading the invoice (which did not include the price of the shoe, by the way), I found I would be responsible for return shipping and a further shipping charge for an exchange...which I was not willing to do. So, to make them work, I had to line the top of the sandal with two layers of moleskin, plus add an insert in the ball of the shoe to prevent slippage. My foot slid through the toe opening. Cute shoes, but a horrible fit. Very disappointed in this product and the return policy. it's the first time in a looooong time i've dropped this much money on a pair of shoes.. and it was almost worth it! i purchased these in white, and they are more of a tiny bit off-white, not bright white. as soon as i opened the box i realized they were even cooler in person than online, but the size is a little off!

i read all the reviews from women who had FLY shoes on amazon, and the general consensus is: they run big. so i bought the size 39 (US size 8). i wear an 8 1/2-9, so i figured this would be perfect. but they are a tad snug! i am not sending them back because the european sizes don't really make half-sizes, and i feel like the 40 would be too big. so i hope i can stretch the extremely soft leather a bit and get them fitting right! my suggestion - go ahead and buy your size if you are a precise whole size or a tad bigger. if not, go with the shoe size smaller.....READ MORE REVIEW

I purchased these shoes because they were a different color of a pair I already have and love. However, these are apparently made by someone else or of some different material than the ones I own. They are so stiff and rough I couldn't wear them more than a couple of minutes before I had to take them off.
I am very disappointed. I had hoped to have 2 pair one light, one dark but that isn't going to happen.
The pair I have has made my life so much better because I have dancer's toe and resulting arthritis in my left foot. I have been miserable for 4 years, spent a fortune at the foot doctor and this pair of shoes is the first thing that has made any difference for me. They are the ones I go to every evening when I come home from work to make my foot feel better.

I own several pair of Birkenstocks but usually only wear them around the house and to run errands on the weekends because I don't feel they are very attractive and actually make my feet look wider than they actually are. Thought long and hard before ordering these sandals.
BUT boy am I glad I did! They just arrived today and
I slipped them on and took off to take care of business
in town. Being "older" I need decent support and can't
tolerate poorly fitting shoes. These FILL THE BILL VERY
NICELY!

They STAY in place (feet don't slip out unless you want
them to). NO rubbing between the toes (uppers are made
of very soft suede-like material which my big toes love).
Cushioned supportive soles are great shock absorbers . .
especially if you walk alot.

They fit my feet like a well worn pair of gloves right
out of the box. This was definitely a FIVE STAR purchase!!!

I got these in bronze. Usually, I wear a 7 1/2 N, but I took reviewers' advice and ordered up 1/2 size. You should, too. These wonderful sandals are cut especially short and especially narrow. No one wants to see toes "hanging 10"!

Not only is the coloring neutral and rich and beautiful, but this manufacturer pays careful attention to comfort. Often, a between the toes sandal takes time to break in. Not here. And my compliments to Athena for building a very light shoe with a deeply cushioned foot bed. I can walk soundlessly and lightly in these with none of that nasty heel-slapping that a heavier sole and heel would produce.

Not all that Ugly; actually rather cool!
I did not buy this shoe on line, but bought it locally after having an xray of my right foot which was injured in an accident years ago. My foot doctor said that because of all the wear and tear that I had developed arthirits in the toe area plux I had loss of cartilage. This shoe has allowed me to walk without pain. I never thought about it being an old lady shoe or an orthopedic shoe when I bought it.

When I can afford another pair, I will buy it again in another color. My first pair is silver.
Believe me it has a most wonderful arch support. My back has not even bothered me since wearing this shoe.
