Keen Sarasota sandalThis sandal looks good in theory but doesn't pan out. The main problem is that the footbed is too hard. I'd hoped to use the sandals for long walks, but my feet and knees get tired and sore after a couple of miles. Also, the upper part of the sandal covers too much of the foot and thus is too warm during hot weather. The slick leather footbed is sweaty. And there is a decorative detail near the toes that looks good but is irritating to the toes. Also, the sandals are very heavy.
The elastic tightening mechanism is useful; I can adjust it tighter for walking or leave it loose for padding around the house and yard. The shoe is sturdy and attractive, but it doesn't serve my purpose of being a good walking sandal for long distances.....READ MORE REVIEW
