Keen Sarasota sandal
This sandal looks good in theory but doesn't pan out. The main problem is that the footbed is too hard. I'd hoped to use the sandals for long walks, but my feet and knees get tired and sore after a couple of miles. Also, the upper part of the sandal covers too much of the foot and thus is too warm during hot weather. The slick leather footbed is sweaty. And there is a decorative detail near the toes that looks good but is irritating to the toes. Also, the sandals are very heavy.

The elastic tightening mechanism is useful; I can adjust it tighter for walking or leave it loose for padding around the house and yard. The shoe is sturdy and attractive, but it doesn't serve my purpose of being a good walking sandal for long distances.....READ MORE REVIEW

I bought these in advance of a trip to Thailand and Cambodia. This is my first pair of Keens and the fit was just right. I did a lot of walking and trekking up stairs at the many temples we visited. I couldn't be happier with these shoes. They held up great and were quite comfortable. Got these for a trip to Costa Rica and managed to test them out this weekend during a challenging hike alongside a waterfall.
