I have bought 3 pairs of dansko dani sandals prior to this purchase. The quality has changed. It still fits well, and is comfortable, but the leather seems cheaper looking. I am disappointed in the look!! That being said, I just returned from a 15 day cruise with lots of walking, and the shoes performed pretty well - again not as comfortable as the originals, but O.K.. I have alot of foot/ankle problems, and dansko has always been a good shoe for me, so hope they return to the original design.....READ MORE REVIEW

great for narrow feet!
Thank you, Dansko, for finally giving us narrow, low-volume footed gals another style! I wear a 40N in the professional clog, and due to the open toe, a 39 in this sandal fits me like a glove. With so many pretty new Dansko styles coming out this spring, none denominated narrow, I was glad to find reviews pointing me in the direction of this shoe. NOT True to Size
First, these are great sandals. I buy a new pair of Danskos every spring, so I have quite a collection. These are among the most comfortable of all my Dansko sandals. The footbed is the softest of any pair of Danskos I own, and the fact that it is suede keeps my foot from sliding around and makes for a more secure fit, as well as resisting that sweaty-foot feel. They are also lighter weight than similar style Dansko sandals.

But please note: These do NOT run true to size, not even to Dansko size. I wear a perfect size 11US, which is a 42--NOT a 41 in European sizes, no matter what manufacturers say (including Dansko). I always wear a 42 in Dansko (and Birkenstock, and every other maker). But after reading the reviews, I ordered these in a 43. They fit exactly as a Dansko 42 usually fits. These could even stand to be a 1/4 inch longer for me. I strongly recommend ordering UP one size from your usual Dansko size, at least in the larger sizes.

Real cute but...........
These sandals are super cute and I love that each strap is adjustable with Velcro for a custom fit, The problem I had is with the arch support. This sandal does not give the superior arch support you get with the other Dansko sandals. I was so excited when I opened the box I could not wait to try them on. I adjusted the straps, stood up, took a couple of steps, and could tell immediately the arch support I expected from Dansko was not there. I put a pair of my Sophie Dansko sandals on ( which are recommended by podiatrists for their superior support) for comparison and immediately knew I had to send these Janie sandals back.
