Break them in!Yes, these shoes arrive narrow, because they are made out of very high quality leather that will stretch and mold to your feet over time. Just like a good pair of leather riding boots, you can't buy them feeling "comfy" from the store because they will stretch and be a full size too big by the 5th time you wear them, especially after you get them a little wet. Since I have zero amounts of patience, I facilitated the break in process by rubbing them with a wet cloth lathered with a conditioning saddle soap. The leather immediately softened and I wore them for the next few hours in relative comfort as they began to mold to my feet. I purchased the nature color in a size 40, which amazon lists as a size 10. I know, a 41 is a size 10 (way to go amazon) but I ended up being OK with this misrepresentation because, again, the quality of the leather warrants getting a half size too small.
